As a program of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), WPSI follows all ACOG guidance regarding COVID-19. ACOG is closely monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic, and is following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and World Health Organization. WPSI has developed a series of FAQs for telehealth services and virtual communication for preventive care. ACOG has developed a series of COVID-19 FAQs for obstetrician–gynecologists. The initial FAQ addresses topics such as staffing and resources and prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum management. ACOG has also developed a series of COVID-19 FAQs for women who are pregnant and breastfeeding. More FAQ’s will be added as they are developed. Cases of COVID-19 have been detected in the United States and person-to person spread of COVID-19 has also been seen among close contacts of returned travelers from various parts of the world. Community spread COVID-19 has been reported in several states
