After serving as Vice-Chair of WPSI’s Dissemination and Implementation Steering Committee for five years, Marj Plumb, DrPH, has stepped down from her role. Since 2019, Dr. Plumb has led the Dissemination & Implementation Steering Committee (DISC) alongside Drs. Garcia and Ramos. Dr. Plumb led the work on creating WPSI’s initial Gender Inclusivity statement in 2022 (updated in 2024). Although WPSI’s main priority is to create recommendations and resources for clinicians, the development of WPSI’s patient resources also began under Dr. Plumb’s leadership. WPSI thanks Dr. Plumb for all her efforts that propelled the program forward and wishes her the best in her endeavors.
Dr. Plumb owns Plumbline Coaching and Consulting, Inc. and serves as a consultant for the California Breast Cancer Research Program.
