A WPSI Ted Talk: Preventive Care for Every Woman, Every Time

Meeting: NACCHO 360 Virtual Conference: Raising the Reach of Public Health

This session, led by Drs. Jeanne Conry, MD, Ph.D., and Susan M. Kendig, JD, WHNP-BC will serve as an introduction to HRSA’s Women’s Preventive Services recommendations including its newest recommendation, Screening for Anxiety. Session objectives include:

  • Description of the history and creation of the WPSI
  • Provide an understanding of the methodology used to create the WPSI recommendations and resources
  • Discuss how to access and use the WPSI Well-Woman Chart, Coding Guide, Patient Trifold, and more.

The Well-Woman Chart: A Preventive Health Tool For All Women

Developed by a coalition of national health professional organizations and consumer and patient advocates, the Well-Woman Chart is a comprehensive tool that summarizes preventive services recommendations for women. The Women’s Preventive Services (WPSI) presents the chart and its supporting documents with an innovative framework for incorporating preventive health services for women into clinical practice.
